I even do not know, where to start. Everything went so quickly. We got to Bratislava on Saturday. We did not want to miss the arrival of our boys. The time went by and after a couple of interviews for some slovak media we allready saw the cars with our boys. Little by little Simon, Nick, John a Roger came out. There was so much screaming and shouting, everybody wanted to touch their beloved, or at least to get some signature at CD. The boys just ran by, but we still had a chance to catch it for you, so you can have a look at it.

Next day we went to Expo arena very soon. In front of the main entrance stayed about 60 fans and they had only one desire - to have the door get finally opened. I have to tell you - it was a pretty crowd there. Everybody wanted to find the best place in front of the stage - and we found it. We stayed right in the front of the stage, maybe 2 metres far from our boys. After the quite good playing of band called Lavagance we could not wait for coming of Duran Duran. All of a sudden the intro of Burning the ground have started and the ground was "really" burning and shaking. The Duran Duran on the stage has started their first gig in Slovakia.

They were not really "considerate" to the audience and from the beginning they have played all of the well known hits. We were interested in some older and not so famous songs and we did not wait too long for Serious, My own way, Hold Back The Rain, Electric Barbarella. The biggest surprise was the song Some like it hot - which belongs to Power Station. The boys have played it really good. During the gig we realized some faults with Simon´s sound monitoring, but everything went good in the end.

According to my opinion - the gig was very good, but some say - in the case of sound - it had some weak points. I am not able to proove it, because I have stayed near the stage :-) Lastly I want to thanks all of my Friends, who shared this great gig with me: to my brother Michal, Zoe, Ana, Adriana and the others, who did not save their voices. Take a look on the pictures, video and do not miss the signatures, which found their places not even on the CD´s, but on the body of our friend Ada as well. :-) ENJOY IT
